TRE® (Tension, Stress & Trauma Releasing Exercises) are a series of seven exercises that gently release deep muscular tension and calm the nervous system. Designed by Dr. David Berceli, TRE® is a self-directed practice that can be used throughout your life to support your physiological well-being.
The exercises are short and non-strenuous, and adjustable for all bodies and movement abilities. The 7th exercise activates a natural tremor reflex, or internal movement, that is experienced in a relaxed position. Tension release can look like laughter, tears, a feeling of ease or simply a yawn. We all have an inherent ability to shake off tension and return to an energized and calm way of being, again and again.
Individual sessions are online via Zoom and require a computer with working audio and video.
